Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jr Boss (ranked 4491 p4p, 428 weight class) and Zibi Kauder (ranked 5356 p4p, 462 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Zibi Kauder enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Jr Boss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zibi Kauder!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boss closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kauder circles away.

Kauder is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boss's half guard.
Boss wants to get back to full guard.
Boss is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Boss is pressing down on Kauder's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boss has his foot on Kauder's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kauder works his way back into a safe position though.
Kauder would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Boss preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Boss escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kauder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kauder with a flurry of punches that miss.
Boss tries to strike from the bottom.

Kauder wants to stand but Boss is controlling his posture from full guard.
Boss working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kauder.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kauder looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Boss on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boss tries to get out of the position.
Boss lands an upkick as Kauder stands over him.
Kauder is stalling in the full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kauder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A head kick misses from Boss.
Kauder shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boss as he jumps to the side.

Kauder looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Boss!

Boss throws Kauder to one side and escapes!
Kauder throws a sloppy head kick and Boss moves out of range easily.
Boss misses with a two punch combination.
Boss fails in his attempt to clinch.
Boss keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kauder moves into the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kauder on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Boss tries to break the clinch but Kauder is controlling the position.
Boss is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kauder is defending well for now.
Kauder tries to pull guard but Boss forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Tom Jr Boss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zibi Kauder.

Boss gets underhooks to prevent Kauder's takedown attempt.
Boss tries to pull guard but Kauder won't allow it.
Boss jumps guard but Kauder turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Boss's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nice sprawl there from Kauder as Boss shoots in.
Kauder tries to land a front kick but Boss steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Kauder closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Jr Boss will probably get the nod.
That's time! Boss's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kauder fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kauder stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kauder wants it to stay on the feet.
Sloppy strikes from Kauder. Those never looked like landing.
Boss pushes Kauder away with a front kick.

Kauder tries to pull guard but Boss won't allow it.
Boss fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Boss is trying to drag Kauder to the mat but Kauder just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kauder is trying to pull guard but Boss turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Boss tries to free his leg and advance position but Kauder is retaining full guard.
Boss is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kauder is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boss defends well.
Boss lands a couple of elbows.

Boss stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kauder will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kauder moves into the clinch.

Boss is trying to break free.
Boss has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kauder after a bit of a struggle.
Boss is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kauder is keeping busy.
Boss tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kauder lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Kauder is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Kauder manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Boss trying to control but Kauder is working from the bottom.

A close second round but Zibi Kauder will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Kauder fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boss sprawls well initially but Kauder persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Boss is refusing to be controlled, as Kauder sits in half guard.
Boss avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kauder.
Boss wants to get back to his feet.
Ground and pound from Kauder.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boss slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kauder won't allow Boss to sweep him here.

Boss controls Kauder momentarily but Kauder frees himself.
Kauder postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kauder throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kauder stays in close to Boss's body and controls the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Boss has his foot on Kauder's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kauder works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boss stuffs the takedown.

Boss scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
You can see the frustration on Kauder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boss grinds an elbow into Kauder's temple.

Boss moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Boss works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Boss tries to move to mount but Kauder blocks the move with his legs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kauder seems a little lost for a moment, as Boss dominates the positioning.
Kauder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kauder is looking to regain half guard here but Boss keeps moving and retains side control.
Check out the look on Boss's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Boss tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boss has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kauder is pushing Boss's head away, looking to escape. Boss manages to hold on to the position though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boss avoids the strikes from the bottom by Kauder.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tom Jr Boss showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Boss has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
