The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benjamins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walsh avoids it really well and circles away.
Benjamins fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Walsh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Benjamins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walsh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Benjamins misses with a takedown attempt - Walsh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Walsh appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zachary Benjamins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walsh throws a lazy right hand but Benjamins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Walsh missing with a left hand there. Benjamins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Benjamins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Walsh won't be happy with that.
Walsh tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Benjamins is looking for the choke from the back position but Walsh is controlling his hands well.
Benjamins biding his time, looking for the opening.
Walsh is trying to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walsh is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Benjamins manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
