Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Martian Manhunter (ranked 2191 p4p, 129 weight class) and Keith Morris (ranked 1869 p4p, 111 weight class). Manhunter comes to the cage accompanied by My Name Is J'onn J'onzz. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manhunter throws out a loose jab but Morris uses good head movement to avoid it.
Morris shoots and misses
and Manhunter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nice uppercut there from Manhunter.
Morris has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Morris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Manhunter as he jumps to the side.
Manhunter misses the shot to the body.
Manhunter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Manhunter connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Keith Morris has been cut.
Morris moves away from the strike by Manhunter.
Morris drops his hands momentarily and Manhunter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Manhunter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Morris takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morris fails with a takedown attempt.
Martian Manhunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keith Morris.
Manhunter falls off balance throwing a combination

and Morris counters with a shoot takedown. Manhunter fights it but they end up in guard.

Morris is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Manhunter controls Morris momentarily but Morris frees himself.
Morris controls from within his opponent's guard.
Manhunter wants to sweep here but Morris controlling him for the moment.
Morris trying to control the position from guard on top but Manhunter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Morris pushing down on Manhunter's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Manhunter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Morris is working away from the top position though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Morris in particular looking to stall.

Morris is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Manhunter is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
