The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Korpolombolo drives through with a takedown into Henry's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Henry wants to get back to his feet but Korpolombolo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We've been hearing that Korpolombolo has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Henry is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Henry takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Korpolombolo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Henry is not content to let Korpolombolo control the position.
Henry is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Korpolombolo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A shot to the liver by Henry. Beautiful body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Henry. Those never looked like landing.
Korpolombolo attempts a counter takedown but Henry avoids it well and moves away.
Korpolombolo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Henry backs up against the cage.
Ngatokowaru Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Korpolombolo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Korpolombolo dives in for a single leg takedown but Henry sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Henry tries to close the distance and clinch but Korpolombolo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Henry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Korpolombolo shoots in looking for a takedown. Henry tries to sprawl out of it but Korpolombolo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Henry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Henry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fight stays on the outside here - Henry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Korpolombolo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Henry's guard.

Henry scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ngatokowaru Henry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Henry gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Henry manages to break the clinch.
Henry looks to land a combination. Korpolombolo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Henry throws a low kick but it's checked well by Korpolombolo.

Henry scores with a one two! Korpolombolo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Henry chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Korpolombolo can pounce on him.

Korpolombolo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Henry on his heels. He'll look to pass Henry's guard now, I'm sure.

Henry has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Korpolombolo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Henry is breathing heavily.

Korpolombolo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Henry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Korpolombolo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Korpolombolo attempts a counter takedown but Henry avoids it well and moves away.

and Korpolombolo counters with a left and a right that stings Henry.
Henry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Korpolombolo circles away quickly and effectively.

Korpolombolo connects with a combination that backs up Henry into the cage. Korpolombolo lands a flurry of punches that gets past Henry's guard. Henry is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Korpolombolo bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
