Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Suren Nazarethyan (ranked 2014 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chosu Viv (ranked 3327 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazarethyan comes to the cage accompanied by Amerika. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viv scores with a punch to the head.
Nazarethyan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Viv counters with a three punch combo that has Nazarethyan backing up. Nazarethyan nods at Viv to acknowledge the strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Viv is defended easily by Nazarethyan.

Viv closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Viv has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Nazarethyan regains guard immediately.

Nazarethyan wants to improve his position but instead Viv has moved into half guard.
Viv has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
