Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Romero (ranked 2982 p4p, 337 weight class) and William Shitlord (ranked 3215 p4p, 360 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jorge Romero has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jorge Romero seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero ducks under a wild hook from Shitlord.
Romero closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shitlord circles away.

Shitlord gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Shitlord is fighting off a takedown attempt but Romero is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Shitlord to the mat. Shitlord regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shitlord can do anything to dispel that myth.
Romero passes into half guard.
Romero tries to pass the half guard into mount. Shitlord knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Romero thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Shitlord is controlling Romero's trapped leg to prevent Romero from advancing to side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Romero tries to pass to full mount but Shitlord defends it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Romero looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Shitlord rushes Romero and presses him up against the cage.
Romero goes for a takedown in the clinch but Shitlord prevents it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Shitlord.
Shitlord lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Romero drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Romero goes for a takedown in the clinch but Shitlord prevents it.

Shitlord connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Romero momentarily.

Romero drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Romero jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Romero controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Shitlord is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Shitlord holds on and takes a little breather.
Romero stays in close to Shitlord's body and controls the position.

Romero tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Shitlord's elbow.
Shitlord is pressed up against the cage. Romero has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shitlord down to the mat. Shitlord avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Romero is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Romero uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shitlord.

Romero takes one to the chin there.
Shitlord throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Romero drops down looking for a counter takedown but Shitlord sprawls and moves away.
Shitlord scores with a jab to the body.

Romero fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Romero lands a nice short elbow.

Romero seems to be working for a kimura but Shitlord defends the submission attempt.
Romero content to control rather than advance.
Shitlord is trying to stand up here but Romero is controlling him well.
Romero content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Romero's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Romero has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Further stalling from Romero.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Romero gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shitlord.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William Shitlord showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Romero changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shitlord looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee asks Romero politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Romero prefers to stall for the moment though.
Shitlord felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Romero throws a strike aimed at the side of Shitlord's head but Shitlord avoids it well.

Romero is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shitlord is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

You can see the frustration on Shitlord's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Romero is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Shitlord is trying to escape and Romero transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Shitlord is forced to tap! Nice work there by Romero! Very nice indeed!
