Murphy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Murphy shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Murphy's hands.
Murphy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silva jabs Murphy right on the nose. Murphy blinks but takes it well.
Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Murphy.
Juan Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Murphy.

Murphy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
