Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Corey Clark (ranked 1974 p4p, 119 weight class) and Hal Robson Kanu (ranked 22283 p4p, 303 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hal Robson Kanu!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robson Kanu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clark was well out of range. Poor timing from Robson Kanu.
Robson Kanu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Clark seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Robson Kanu for as long as he can get away with.

Robson Kanu is looking to improve his position but Clark isn't that keen on the idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Clark 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clark , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
