Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Gilberto Chamba (ranked 3481 p4p, 313 weight class) and Puck Heidegger (ranked 5055 p4p, 378 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gilberto Chamba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 8 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Puck Heidegger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chamba throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Heidegger scores with a kick to the midsection.
Chamba looks to throw the jab but Heidegger is out of range.
Chamba swats away the attempt to clinch by Heidegger.
Heidegger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chamba sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Heidegger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chamba was well out of range. Poor timing from Heidegger.
Heidegger digs a good body shot into Chamba's ribs.
Chamba tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Heidegger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Good leg kick by Heidegger there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gilberto Chamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Heidegger tenderised Chamba's leg. Chamba is trying to keep his angry face on.
Chamba tries to land a front kick but Heidegger steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
It seemed like Heidegger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Chamba misses with a kick to the body
and Heidegger counters with a good low kick that Chamba was not able to check.
Chamba lands a nice shot to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Heidegger, right into the meat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Heidegger scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Chamba to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

and Heidegger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chamba throws a head kick but Heidegger moves out of range.

Heidegger misses with a low kick as Chamba jumps back.
Chamba is looking to counter the offense by Heidegger and move into the clinch.
Chamba misses with a straight right.
Heidegger connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Gilberto Chamba's cut is getting worse.
Chamba lands a leg kick that knocks Heidegger off balance momentarily.
Chamba throws a head kick that misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chamba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Heidegger feints a counter leg kick.
Chamba throws a lazy head kick
and Heidegger finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Chamba is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Chamba is breathing heavily.

Chamba ducks into a a hook from Heidegger and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Heidegger looks to score with a jab to the body but Chamba is just out of range.
Chamba misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Heidegger lands with a shot to the body.

Heidegger connects with a leg kick. Chamba looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Heidegger just misses with a punch to the body.
Heidegger is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chamba rather than just go for the knockout.

Chamba walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Heidegger rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Chamba has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Heidegger has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Oh Chamba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chamba seems to have got his legs back now.
Heidegger connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Chamba's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Chamba - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
