Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jett Denovan (ranked 5434 p4p, 414 weight class) and Mehmed Dervisevic (ranked 23778 p4p, 512 weight class). Jett Denovan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jett Denovan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mehmed Dervisevic!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denovan avoids the body shot from Dervisevic.
Jab from Denovan.
Denovan clinches.
Denovan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dervisevic's efforts to push away.
A frustrated look appears on Dervisevic's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Denovan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Dervisevic drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Denovan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Denovan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dervisevic fails to land the takedown.
Denovan throws a big counter combination but Dervisevic scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dervisevic has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Denovan lands a big head kick that sends Dervisevic tumbling to the mat! Denovan takes a step backwards and waves Dervisevic back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Mehmed Dervisevic has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dervisevic moves forwards but Denovan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Denovan instigates a clinch.
Denovan prevents the takedown attempt.
Jett Denovan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mehmed Dervisevic.
Dervisevic wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dervisevic is trying to push Denovan away but Denovan has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Denovan stalls.
Dervisevic wants to stall.
Dervisevic's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dervisevic takes a shot to the head.
Still in the clinch, Denovan scores with a nice short uppercut.
Dervisevic is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Denovan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Denovan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Dervisevic's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Denovan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Denovan moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Denovan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A jab lands there for Denovan.
Dervisevic fails with the takedown
and Denovan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Dervisevic! Denovan lets Dervisevic back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Dervisevic is rocked!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Denovan! This one is all over!
