Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Moonlight Maze (ranked 1783 p4p, 212 weight class) and Judas Priest (ranked 2251 p4p, 257 weight class). Maze comes to the ring accompanied by Winger Can't Get Enough . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Moonlight Maze! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 4 losses; Judas Priest!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Priest changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maze tries to avoid it but Priest manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maze to the ground. Maze escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maze.

Maze gets tackled into the ropes by Priest. Priest maintains the clinch.

Maze turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Maze manages to end up in side control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
You can see the frustration on Priest's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Priest tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Maze wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Priest felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Maze's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Priest is holding on here and Maze must be using up a lot of energy. Priest has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Maze gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
