Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Massive (ranked 6171 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Paddy (ranked 6593 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paddy instigates a clinch.
Paddy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Massive can't break the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Massive has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A nice right hand lands inside from Massive.
Paddy working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Massive working aggressively here.

Massive breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Paddy tries to clinch but Massive moves out of range.

Paddy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Massive on his heels. He'll look to pass Massive's guard now, I'm sure.
Paddy passes Massive's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Massive on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Massive tries to get out of the position.

Paddy seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Massive is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

In his post fight interview, Max Paddy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
