Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Dalibor Drahomir (ranked 1655 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jao Rua (ranked 515 p4p, 67 weight class). Drahomir comes into the arena with Outspoken blaring out of the sound system. Rua has chosen Tarantula as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Dalibor Drahomir! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 4 losses; Jao Rua!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Rua clinches up against the cage.

Rua working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drahomir doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Drahomir manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rua is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rua is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rua is pushing down on Drahomir's leg trying to pass to half guard. Drahomir is fighting to maintain full guard but Rua has managed to sneak the leg through.

Rua looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
