Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between David Allan Coe (ranked 2218 p4p, 220 weight class) and Ren Naga-Wing (ranked 3785 p4p, 340 weight class). Coe comes to the ring accompanied by Nothing To Lose. Ren Naga-Wing told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 5 losses; David Allan Coe! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 12 losses; Ren Naga-Wing!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

Coe is looking to take a break and control but Naga-Wing is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Naga-Wing manages to get back to half guard.
Naga-Wing is trying to maintain the position but Coe is very close to passing his half guard.
Naga-Wing tries to roll over but Coe keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coe is taking a breather. Naga-Wing says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Naga-Wing preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Naga-Wing holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Coe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Naga-Wing manages to get to full guard.
Coe trying to control the position from guard on top but Naga-Wing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Coe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Naga-Wing swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Naga-Wing keeping moving, preventing Coe from controlling successfully.
Coe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Coe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Coe is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Naga-Wing is pulling down on Coe's head. It's preventing any offense from Coe, at least for the moment.

Naga-Wing looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coe is one step ahead there.
Coe wants to pass the guard but Naga-Wing is keeping the position.

Naga-Wing is keen to just control but Coe is a slippery customer.

Coe has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Naga-Wing. Oh but Coe has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Naga-Wing goes limp - he's gone! Coe jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
