The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zapata fails to land with a series of punches.
Zapata lands a nice shot that snaps O Donnigal's head back.
Zapata cracks O Donnigal with an open hand slap.
O Donnigal throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Zapata throws a counter combo.
Zapata thuds a left hand into O Donnigal's body.
O Donnigal gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Zapata fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. O Donnigal sprawls well initially but Zapata persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
O Donnigal regains full guard. Nicely done.
O Donnigal has momentary wrist control but Zapata slips an elbow through the middle.

O Donnigal is rocked!
Zapata keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of O Donnigal's head.
Oh O Donnigal is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zapata postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! O Donnigal covers up, he's hurt! Zapata keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Zapata and the ref steps in to end the fight! Zapata can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
