Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns has his takedown stuffed
and Bennett counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bennett connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johns momentarily.
Bennett lands with an uppercut that bounces Johns off the cage and back into range.
Jab, jab by Bennett - just one landing.
Johns misses with a hook
and Bennett counters with a right hand to the body.
Johns throws a hook but Bennett blocks it.
Johns has his takedown stuffed
and Bennett counters with a nice uppercut.
Bennett drops Johns with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Johns looks back up at him and smiles so Bennett waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Johns is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bennett cracks Johns with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Johns looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bennett finish him?
Johns is still on wobbly legs! Can Bennett finish him?
Johns tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bennett defends well and Johns ends up having to push Bennett into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Island Bennett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Johns.
Johns shoots for a double leg takedown but Bennett sprawls well. He's pushed Johns's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Johns seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johns takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bennett definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Bennett counters with a left to the body.
Bennett lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Island Bennett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Johns tries for a takedown but Bennett circles away easily
and Bennett counters with a huge left! Johns is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bennett isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Johns from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bennett!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Island Bennett!
