The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Davies stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Oliveira.
Oliveira swats away the attempt to clinch by Davies.
Oliveira lands with a thumping leg kick.
A head kick misses from Oliveira.
Oliveira moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Davies dives in and grabs Oliveira's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oliveira pushes down on Davies's head and hops out.
Oliveira slaps away a takedown attempt from Davies, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spencer Davies. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davies is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oliveira scoring well with a low kick there.
Davies has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Oliveira.

and Oliveira makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Oliveira lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Oliveira, right into the meat.

Oliveira lands a big head kick that sends Davies tumbling to the mat! Oliveira takes a step backwards and waves Davies back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Spencer Davies has been cut.
Davies is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Oliveira.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oliveira and Davies are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Oliveira throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Davies into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Oliveira knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
