Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brillock closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moss circles away.
Moss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Moss fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brillock sprawls well initially but Moss persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Moss not doing much here.
Brillock wants to control but Moss is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Moss is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Moss takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Moss is looking for a kimura but Brillock is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Moss to get the leverage.
Moss landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Brillock is looking for a sweep. Moss is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Moss seems to be working for a kimura but Brillock defends the submission attempt.
Moss slips a nice elbow through Brillock's hands, connecting with Brillock's forehead.
Brillock is looking to improve his position.
Moss takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Brillock is pressing down on Moss's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Moss working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Brillock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
