Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jose Pacheco (ranked 20029 p4p, 299 weight class) and Thad Thayer (ranked 6632 p4p, 291 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Thad Thayer!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Joseph Jones.

Thayer shoots in looking for a takedown. Pacheco tries to sprawl out of it but Thayer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pacheco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pacheco tries to counter with a takedown but Thayer is quick to defend against it.
Thayer forces Pacheco back against the cage and clinches.

Pacheco's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Thayer content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Pacheco has locked up a guillotine! Pacheco's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Thayer is holding on here and Pacheco must be using up a lot of energy. Thayer has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Pacheco gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
