Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Billings (ranked 4689 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mannie Wynnter (ranked 4610 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mannie Wynnter!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Billings tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wynnter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Billings somewhat.

Wynnter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Wynnter ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wynnter no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Wynnter lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wynnter tries to free his leg and advance position but Billings is retaining full guard.

Wynnter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Billings doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wynnter.

Wynnter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Billings walks away with a smile on his face. Wynnter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wynnter can do anything to dispel that myth.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wynnter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Billings doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Billings manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Billings got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wynnter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Billings has managed to get both his arms back between Wynnter's legs - danger averted.
