Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boxing Guy (ranked 1906 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunner Larsson (ranked 570 p4p, 0 weight class). Larsson has chosen Machine Gun Kelly - Till I Die as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Larsson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Guy misses with an uppercut.
Guy takes a swing at Larsson's ribcage but misses.
Larsson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Guy defends it well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Larsson.
And Larsson tries to counter it with a takedown but Guy pushes his down on his head and steps out.

It looked like Guy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Guy is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Larsson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Guy is fending him off so far but Larsson persists. Nope, Guy circles away and we're back to standing.
Boxing Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunner Larsson.

Guy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Larsson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Guy is fending him off so far but Larsson persists. Nope, Guy circles away and we're back to standing.
Guy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Larsson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Guy to score with a decent uppercut.

and Larsson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Guy is looking to stand up but Larsson isn't so interested in that idea.
Guy pulls Larsson in close to prevent any damage.

Larsson postures up in Guy's guard and throws a big left but Guy blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Larsson wants to pass the guard but Guy is keeping the position.
Guy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Larsson is controlling him.

Guy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Larsson on the ground.
Larsson wants to control from the top but Guy keeps moving.
Larsson lands a couple of digs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Guy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Larsson momentarily.

letting Guy counter with a right hand.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Larsson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Larsson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Guy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A very excited looking Gunner Larsson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
