Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elazar Shalit (ranked 1640 p4p, 182 weight class) and Bruce White Jr (ranked 2597 p4p, 251 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shalit misses with an uppercut. White Jr saw that one coming.
Shalit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
White Jr takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Shalit throws a hook to the side of White Jr's head but White Jr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Shalit moves into the clinch.
White Jr blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
White Jr effectively controlling the action here.
White Jr throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Shalit lands with a short shot to the head.
White Jr is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Shalit gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

White Jr told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

It looks like Elazar Shalit has been cut.
Shalit is pressed up against the cage. White Jr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shalit down to the mat. Shalit avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
White Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shalit defends well and White Jr ends up having to push Shalit into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

White Jr pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

White Jr drops his hands momentarily and Shalit takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

White Jr walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
White Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shalit defends well and White Jr ends up having to push Shalit into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - White Jr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

White Jr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shalit sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Shalit's jab looks to have found its range, popping White Jr under the eye.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
White Jr misses with an uppercut.
White Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shalit sprawls well. Shalit wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. White Jr gets slowly back to his feet.
White Jr wants to clinch up but Shalit keeps it at a distance.

With the fighters up against the cage, White Jr throws an elbow but misses.

Shalit dips a shoulder and cracks White Jr with a mighty uppercut! White Jr falls back against the cage and Shalit unloads with a barrage of strikes! White Jr is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Shalit screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
