The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marais looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice shot lands for Domicio.
Marais bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Marais avoids the body shot from Domicio.
Marais is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Marais uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Domicio.
Domicio cracks Marais with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Domicio lands an overhand right.
Domicio misses with a hook. Marais ducked under it nicely.
Marais throws out a counter right but Domicio avoids it with no problem.
Domicio throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marais stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Domicio throws out a powerful jab.
Domicio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marais manages to avoid it.
Marais takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Domicio is stalking Marais. Marais circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Domicio, and it's lights out! Marais really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Lucio Domicio decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
