Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Hawtry (ranked 512 p4p, 68 weight class) and Dean Corll (ranked 527 p4p, 71 weight class). Hawtry comes to the cage accompanied by The Rain. Corll is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Candyman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corll lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A bone on bone clash there as Hawtry blocks the leg kick.

Corll scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Corll is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hawtry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hawtry is not content to let Corll control the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Charles Hawtry will probably get the nod.
