The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fox closes the distance and clinches.
Svenssson lands a right hand.
Fox throws an elbow but it misses.
Svenssson is leaning against Fox and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Svenssson is working Fox over against the cage.
Fox looking to throw knees to the head but Svenssson is blocking nicely.
Svenssson scores with a shot to the side of Fox's head.
Fox tries to pull guard but Svenssson holds him up against the cage and eventually Fox drops back down to his feet.
Fox misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Svenssson lands a body shot.
Svenssson works on Fox's body with a couple of short punches.
Svenssson prevents a body shot from Fox.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head punch on the inside from Fox fails to land.
Svenssson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fox backwards.
Svenssson lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Fox.
Svenssson blocks a body shot from Fox.
Fox tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Svenssson smiles and moves away.
Jim Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fox throws a poor cross that misses
and Svenssson counters with a right hand to the body.

Fox takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Jim Fox has been cut.
Fox closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Fox gets tackled into the cage by Svenssson. Svenssson maintains the clinch.
Svenssson lands with a left to the head.
Fox tries to pull guard but Svenssson holds him up against the cage and eventually Fox drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Svenssson creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Fox with a big uppercut! Fox tries to clinch up but Svenssson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Fox to the mat! Fox covers up and Svenssson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
