Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haro Magalo (ranked 3553 p4p, 374 weight class) and Ronny Limmerick (ranked 1915 p4p, 234 weight class). Magalo comes into the arena with Franco - All Nighter blaring out of the sound system. Ronny Limmerick is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ronny Limmerick!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magalo shoots in for a double leg but Limmerick sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Magalo misses with a few strikes there.
Limmerick looks to land a left hand but Magalo moved out of range nicely.
Magalo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Magalo tries to clinch
letting Limmerick counter with a right hand.

It looks like Haro Magalo has been cut.
Magalo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Limmerick on the side of the head.
Magalo misses with a hook. Limmerick ducked under it nicely.
Limmerick steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Magalo.
Magalo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Limmerick feints the counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Limmerick takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Magalo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Limmerick. Limmerick circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Magalo closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Limmerick takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Limmerick is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Magalo misses with a shot to the body

and Limmerick counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Magalo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Limmerick to keep the fight standing.

Magalo is looking to clinch but Limmerick is avoiding it.
Magalo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Magalo misses with a right hand
and Magalo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Magalo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Magalo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Limmerick pinned against the cage. Limmerick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haro Magalo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Magalo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Limmerick counters with a huge left! Magalo is in big trouble! He's backing up but Limmerick isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Magalo from any more damage. A dominating finish by Limmerick!
