The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern looks to score with a jab to the body but Cornell is just out of range.

Cornell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stern has time to react.

Cornell dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stern. That did some damage!

Stern's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cornell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Stern walks into a big right hand from Cornell and goes down! The referee sends Cornell to a neutral corner as Stern gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Cornell ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Stern out cold! The fight is over!

A very excited looking Tony Cornell made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Howard Stern spoke after the fight, saying 'I blame Robin and those big G's.'.
