PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nero La Croix (ranked 18448 p4p, 190 weight class) and Tohit Tohurt (ranked 970 p4p, 48 weight class). La Croix comes into the arena with Ca Plane Pour Moi blaring out of the sound system. Tohit Tohurt has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tohit Tohurt!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
La Croix thuds a left hand into Tohurt's body.
La Croix tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tohurt swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
La Croix has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Wild Beasts Zoo in the buildup to the fight.
Tohurt on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
La Croix looks to land a left hand but Tohurt moved out of range nicely.
Tohurt lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A chopping leg kick lands by La Croix.
La Croix fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tohurt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

It looks like Nero La Croix has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tohurt steps to the side to avoid the strikes from La Croix.
La Croix scores with a jab to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tohurt takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
La Croix jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Tohit Tohurt has been cut.

and Tohurt counters with an outside leg kick.

La Croix looks to throw the jab but Tohurt is out of range.
La Croix misses with a looping right.

La Croix scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Tohurt beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

You can see that Tohurt has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks
Nice uppercut lands for La Croix. That snapped Tohurt's head back.

That has opened up Tohit Tohurt's cut even more.
La Croix closes the distance and catches Tohurt with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Tohurt is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Tohurt is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Tohurt is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! La Croix takes it!
