Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Garaile Lban (ranked 1818 p4p, 223 weight class) and Araki Kenjiro (ranked 2384 p4p, 279 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenjiro takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kenjiro misses the shot to the body.
Lban appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kenjiro fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lban has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kenjiro tries to land a front kick but Lban steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kenjiro misses with the combination.
Lban circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kenjiro's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kenjiro's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kenjiro throws the left hand but Lban avoids the punch easily.
Araki Kenjiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lban looks to land a right hand but Kenjiro moved out of range.

Lban swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Lban scores with a hook to the body. Kenjiro takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Lban scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Lban counters with a straight right hand.

Kenjiro throws a push kick but Lban slaps the foot to one side.
Kenjiro throws a leg kick
and Lban counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lban throws a body punch but Kenjiro moves out of range.
Lban bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kenjiro's head backwards.
Kenjiro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lban finds it's way round the side to connect with Kenjiro's head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lban darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kenjiro throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lban makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
An inside leg kick from Kenjiro misses.
Lban jabs at Kenjiro's body.
Lban throws a series of punches but Kenjiro avoids them all with ease.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kenjiro misses with an uppercut
enabling Lban to counter with a crisp jab.
Kenjiro fails in his attempt to clinch.

Kenjiro is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
An attempted straight right counter from Lban misses the target.
Kenjiro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lban blocks a head kick by Kenjiro.
Lban fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kenjiro looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kenjiro thows a leg kick but Lban checks it
letting Lban counter with a right hand.
Lban jabs Kenjiro to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Lban feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kenjiro sprawling to the canvas! Kenjiro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lban finish him?!
Kenjiro is still on wobbly legs! Can Lban finish him?
Kenjiro wants to clinch but Lban slips to the side
and Lban counters with a big left hand that crumples Kenjiro! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
