Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bob McDonald (ranked 613 p4p, 70 weight class) and Samson Goldstein (ranked 2470 p4p, 237 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McDonald might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ray Wylie Hubbard - Redneck Mother. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

57 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Samson Goldstein!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Goldstein on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Samson Goldstein has been cut.
Goldstein drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
McDonald misses the shot to the body.
McDonald misses with a few strikes there.
McDonald cracks Goldstein with a big right hand and Goldstein goes down!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goldstein has momentary wrist control but McDonald slips an elbow through the middle.
McDonald gets to his feet and stands over Goldstein, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Goldstein felt that one! McDonald unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Goldstein from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Bob McDonald!
After winning the bout, Jim Bob McDonald thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
