PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Bollocks (ranked 3277 p4p, 293 weight class) and Tomasz Rzasa (ranked 3617 p4p, 323 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bollocks missing with a left hand there. Rzasa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bollocks slaps away a takedown attempt from Rzasa, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bollocks stuffs the takedown attempt from Rzasa. Rzasa gets slowly back to his feet.
Bollocks was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Rzasa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bollocks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bollocks tries to counter by clinching up but Rzasa breaks away and moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rzasa shoots in looking for a takedown but Bollocks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rzasa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bollocks looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Colin Bollocks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomasz Rzasa.
A big right from Bollocks misses.
Bollocks doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rzasa shoots in looking for a takedown. Bollocks tries to sprawl out of it but Rzasa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bollocks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bollocks throws a head kick that misses.
And Rzasa tries to counter it with a takedown but Bollocks pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Rzasa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bollocks tries to avoid it but Rzasa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bollocks to the ground. Bollocks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rzasa dives in for a single leg takedown but Bollocks sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bollocks appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Rzasa fails with an attempt to clinch.

Rzasa gets tackled into the cage by Bollocks. Bollocks maintains the clinch.

Rzasa pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bollocks stands and steps away. Rzasa gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Bollocks misses with a right hand
and Rzasa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Bollocks fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rzasa, pushing him back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bollocks breaks the clinch.
Rzasa shoots in but no luck this time.
Bollocks fires out a quick counter leg kick but Rzasa just manages to avoid it.

and Bollocks counters with a straight that turns Rzasa's legs to rubber! Bollocks pushes forward with more strikes and Rzasa goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
