Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Hazuki (ranked 22854 p4p, 470 weight class) and Emin Timurovich (ranked 6229 p4p, 426 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daisuke Hazuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Emin Timurovich!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazuki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

We've been hearing reports that Hazuki has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Nice takedown defense from Hazuki. No joy for Timurovich on that attempt.
Hazuki is looking to counter the offense by Timurovich and move into the clinch.

Hazuki misses with a takedown attempt - Timurovich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hazuki wants to get up but he can't break Timurovich's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hazuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Timurovich swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Timurovich has a closed guard, preventing Hazuki from standing up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Timurovich takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hazuki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Timurovich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We've been informed that Timurovich has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Hazuki manages to break the clinch.
Hazuki pivots, looking for a leg kick but Timurovich is out of range and Hazuki settles back down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hazuki wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Timurovich manages to pass to side control.

Timurovich moves into range and clinches up with Hazuki.
Hazuki is looking to control Timurovich's arms but Timurovich gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hazuki has his back to the cage.

Hazuki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hazuki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hazuki avoids a kick to the body.
Hazuki dives in and grabs Timurovich's left leg, looking for a takedown. Timurovich pushes down on Hazuki's head and hops out.
