Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jungle Simba (ranked 2946 p4p, 271 weight class) and Jack McGregor (ranked 3256 p4p, 292 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor thuds his right hand into Simba's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Simba takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
McGregor jabs Simba right on the nose. Simba blinks but takes it well.
A head kick by McGregor misses

and Simba decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McGregor's guard.
Simba keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McGregor's head.
Simba throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McGregor works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Simba wants to pass the guard but McGregor is keeping the position.
McGregor is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
McGregor lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
