Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Reyvolt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Coyote!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyvolt stuffs the takedown.

Coyote shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Reyvolt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Coyote must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Coyote working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Coyote is looking to work some ground and pound but Reyvolt has wrist control.
Coyote looking to sit in guard and control but Reyvolt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Reyvolt's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Coyote tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Reyvolt missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coyote working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reyvolt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reyvolt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Coyote looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Reyvolt passes into half guard.
Coyote wants to improve his position but Reyvolt is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coyote has hold of Reyvolt's hands but Reyvolt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Coyote is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reyvolt pulls his head out easily.

Reyvolt postures up in Coyote's guard and throws a big left but Coyote blocks it.
Coyote trying to keep a closed guard but Reyvolt is proving a slippery customer.
Reyvolt lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Reyvolt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Reyvolt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Coyote has his foot on Reyvolt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reyvolt works his way back into a safe position though.

Coyote had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reyvolt defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reyvolt connects with a couple of short punches.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Coyote can do anything to dispel that myth.

Reyvolt gets to his feet and stands over Coyote, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Coyote felt that one! Reyvolt unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Coyote from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Reyvolt!
Our winner, Robert Reyvolt, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
