Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mew Choo (ranked 584 p4p, 81 weight class) and Borys Mankowski (ranked 2090 p4p, 249 weight class). In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Mew Choo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 8 losses; Borys Mankowski!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Choo moves into the clinch.

Choo ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Choo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Mankowski wants to pass the guard but Choo is keeping the position.

Mankowski drops back looking for a leg! Choo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Choo manages to kick Mankowski off! Mankowski jumps back into Choo's guard.

Mankowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mankowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mankowski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Choo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Choo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mankowski is aware though and is defending well.

Mankowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Choo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Choo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mankowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mankowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mankowski wants to pass the guard but Choo is keeping the position.
Mankowski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mankowski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Choo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mankowski.

Mankowski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Choo has managed to free his arm - good work.

Choo looking for a triangle here. Mankowski is fighting it but it looks tight! Choo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Mankowski is tapping out - this one is all over!
