Cruz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cruz somewhat.

Jackson is pushing Cruz's head away, looking to escape. Cruz manages to hold on to the position though.

Jackson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cruz asserts his dominance and retains side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cruz goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jackson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cruz's guard! Nice work there by Jackson !

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson wants to stand but Cruz has his arm trapped.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Cruz dives in for a single leg takedown but Jackson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
