The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver misses with a right hand
and John counters with a nice uppercut.
Silver fails to land with a series of punches.
John half committed to a counter leg kick.
John is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
John uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silver.

Silver moves into range and clinches up with John.
John tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Silver lands a shoulder strike.
John using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Silver throws an elbow but misses.
