The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Folayang scores with a body shot.
Huts dives in for a single leg takedown but Folayang sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

It looks like Nairy Huts has been cut.
Huts tries to close the distance and clinch up but Folayang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A combination from Folayang does no damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Folayang enables Huts to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Folayang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Folayang pushes Huts off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've been hearing reports that Huts has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Huts fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Huts dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Folayang misses with a series of wild punches.
Huts shoots for a double leg takedown but Folayang sprawls well. He's pushed Huts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nairy Huts. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Huts on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Huts takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Huts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Folayang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Huts gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Folayang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Huts can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Folayang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Huts manages to get himself to full guard.

Huts wants to sweep here but Folayang controlling him for the moment.

Folayang drops back looking for a leg! Huts is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Huts manages to kick Folayang off! Folayang jumps back into Huts's guard.

Huts has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Folayang finds it's way round the side to connect with Huts's head.
Huts tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Folayang defends well and Huts ends up having to push Folayang into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Huts scores with a head kick. Folayang tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Huts throws a head kick but Folayang moves out of range.
Huts walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Folayang throws a low kick but Huts avoids it.
Huts throws a counter high kick but Folayang was just alert enough to avoid it.
Folayang lands with a right and another and another! Huts is in big trouble! Folayang lands again and this time it's lights out for Huts! A quality knockout there for Folayang.
