Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aran Ryan (ranked 790 p4p, 114 weight class) and Jan Sobieski (ranked 1354 p4p, 186 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aran Ryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Sobieski!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobieski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ryan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sobieski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ryan doesn't seem bothered though.
Ryan throws a sloppy head kick and Sobieski moves out of range easily.
Sobieski thumps Ryan with a low kick.
Ryan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sobieski.
Sobieski throws a push kick but Ryan slaps the foot to one side.
No luck for Sobieski with that takedown attempt.
Sobieski misses the jab.
Ryan jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sobieski has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sobieski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ryan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Well Sobieski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
