We've been hearing good reports from Taker's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Taker, as that shot connected.

Evonik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Taker tries to avoid it but Evonik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Taker to the ground. Taker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Taker misses with a body punch
and Evonik counters with a stiff right hand.

Taker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Evonik to the mat! Evonik manages to get full guard.

Taker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Evonik is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Taker frees his head nicely. Oh but Evonik has switched to an armbar! Taker is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
