Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Simon Strange and Ulf Ek. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Simon Strange! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Ulf Ek!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

We've been hearing reports that Strange has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maneno is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Strange flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Strange is out cold! Maneno holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
