In defeat, Darryl Haze stepped up to the mic, saying 'I lost because I was spat on by a venomous snake on my way to the arena and I had trouble seeing on account of the bright lights in my dressing room. I had blurred vision and numbness in my neck, eyes, arms, and lower torso. No way I would have lost otherwise!'.

Darryl Haze spoke after the fight, saying 'I lost because I was spat on by a venomous snake on my way to the arena and I had trouble seeing on account of the bright lights in my dressing room. I had blurred vision and numbness in my neck, eyes, arms, and lower torso. No way I would have lost otherwise!'.

Darryl Haze was interviewed post fight and said 'I lost because I was spat on by a venomous snake on my way to the arena and I had trouble seeing on account of the bright lights in my dressing room. I had blurred vision and numbness in my neck, eyes, arms, and lower torso. No way I would have lost otherwise!'.
