Rustandi bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Rustandi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rustandi lands a body shot.
Rustandi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hayes.
Rustandi appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hayes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rustandi counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rustandi stalks Hayes and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hayes's face. Hayes staggers backwards, shaken.
Hayes's coach down at 25 Beasts was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hayes's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hayes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rustandi circles away.
