We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#TD#
Nordlund gets caught flat footed, as Neil shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

A combination from Nordlund does no damage.
Nordlund chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cudi can pounce on him.

Cudi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cudi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cudi thuds his right hand into Nordlund's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nordlund throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Cudi's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Nordlund dives in looking to finish as Cudi flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Nordlund's strikes! Nordlund is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Cudi's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Cudi was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

David Nordlund took some time post fight to say the following; 'We got it, baby! I know this is a huge upset, but my coaches and my manager always believed in my power. Now the belt is ours and we won't give it away!'.

In his post fight interview, David Nordlund gave a big smile as he said 'I knew this guy was unbeaten, but he didn't have a real opponent like me. Thats what happens when you're rolling with the big guys, baby. Like the Northern Light!'.
Grisha Kamenov was interviewed post fight and said 'i Will be champion and a hall of famer just wait this is nothing i will do it !'.
