The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Tyson.
Allen lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Allen keeps the fight on the outside.
Allen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Tyson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allen as he jumps to the side.
Tyson has a takedown stuffed.
A solid leg kick lands there for Allen.
Good exchange - Tyson coming out on top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tyson. That did some damage!
Tyson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Allen but Allen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Terry Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Tyson.
Tyson tries for a takedown but Allen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tyson throws a shot from downtown. Allen moves away and avoids it.

Tyson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Terry Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen stuffs the takedown attempt from Tyson. Tyson gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tyson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tyson's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tyson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Tyson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Allen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Allen lands a nice shot to the body.
Allen lands a hook that snaps the head of Tyson backwards.

Allen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tyson tries to clinch up but Allen circles away and keeps his distance.
Tyson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Allen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Allen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tyson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Allen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Allen maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tyson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Allen has cracked it and Tyson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Allen!

No luck for Tyson with that takedown attempt.
A counter left hand to the body from Nuts misses its target.
Tyson tries to clinch up.

Nuts takes the fight into the clinch.
Nuts tries a body shot but Tyson blocks it.

Nuts pulls guard effortlessly.

Nuts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tyson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nuts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nuts is on top in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nuts decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tyson, up you get!
Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.

Nuts lands a damaging elbow.

Nuts drags the fight down to the ground.
Tyson is looking to work some ground and pound but Nuts has wrist control.

Nuts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Tyson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nuts is proving hard to escape from.
Nuts has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Nuts looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tyson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nuts is keeping the position for now.

Nuts has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Tyson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Tyson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Nuts gets control of Tyson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nuts will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nuts has control of Tyson's left arm, preventing Tyson from doing any damage.
Nuts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nuts perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Nuts is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tyson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Nuts jumps guard but Tyson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Nuts fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tyson, pushing him back against the cage.
Tyson tries to break the clinch but Nuts is controlling the position.
Tyson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Nuts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tyson shoots in for a double leg but Nuts sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And Tyson responds with a good body kick, but Nuts manages to step out the way in time.

Nuts wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tyson closes the distance but Nuts moves to the side
and Nuts counters with an outside leg kick.
Nuts avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tyson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nuts as he jumps to the side.

Nuts is controlling Tyson's posture.
Tyson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Nuts trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Nuts lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nuts controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Nuts scoring with some ground and pound.

and Nuts makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Nuts has a takedown stuffed.
Tyson feints the counter takedown.
Nuts avoids the body shot from Tyson.

Nuts closes the distance and clinches.

Nuts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tyson shoots and misses

and Nuts counters by moving into the clinch.

Nuts manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Nuts seems keen to control Tyson's posture.

Nuts is pushing down on Tyson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tyson is fighting to maintain full guard but Nuts has managed to sneak the leg through.

Nuts is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tyson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nuts.

Tyson is in all sorts of trouble here.

Nuts scoring with strikes but Tyson is staying in there.

Nuts takes Tyson's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Tyson is in trouble.
