Jackson shoots in and bounces Magufuli I I I off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jackson pushing down on Magufuli I I I's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Jackson moves into full mount! Magufuli I I I won't be happy about that!
Jackson is landing with some decent strikes but Magufuli I I I is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Thompson stalling in the clinch but Magufuli I I I improves position.
Thompson tries to pull guard but Magufuli I I I won't allow it.
Thompson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Magufuli I I I to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Thompson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A low kick from McArthur is predictable there
and Magufuli I I I counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bobby McArthur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magufuli I I I displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McArthur.
Magufuli I I I let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

McArthur is aggressively charging in as Magufuli I I I backs up avoiding any damage. Magufuli I I I tosses out a jab and McArthur runs right into it face first! McArthur is out cold! Magufuli I I I dropped down on all fours and is barking in McArthur's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
