Simpson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Heir stumbling backwards into the cage! Heir bounces back off the cage towards Simpson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Simpson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Simpson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Gerald Simpson!

Moore breaks from the clinch.
Moore lands with a cross.
Moore clobbers Heir with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #TD#
Heir is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Moore's half guard.
Heir moves into full mount! Moore won't be happy about that!
Moore is in all sorts of trouble here.
Heir misses with a head shot.
Heir wants to control the pace but Moore is squirming around nicely.

Moore tries to lock up and control but Heir gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Heir swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Moore is now in Heir's guard. A big mistake from Heir there, giving up the dominant position!

Moore looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Heir with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oh Heir is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Heir has hold of Moore's hands but Moore slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Moore lands a big elbow - Heir is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Moore!

Kelly lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Kelly breaks the clinch.
Heir fails to land the takedown.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kelly.
Kelly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Danga de danga de dang - Kelly scores with a four punch combination!
Kelly throws a nice outside leg kick.
Heir misses with a wild combination.
Kelly throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Heir has his takedown stuffed
and Kelly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kelly lands with a straight right. Heir didn't see that one coming.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kelly has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Heir shoots in and drives through. Kelly sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jasdeep Heir. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Heir darts in trying to clinch
and Kelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kelly shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Heir eats them both and turns towards Kelly to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Heir shoots in but Kelly avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kelly lands a nice hook to Heir's body. Heir takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kelly scores with a head kick.
Heir throws a body punch but Kelly moves out of range. #T2#

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Heir takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Oh Heir is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Kelly counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Heir off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Kelly follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Heir was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Derrick Kelly!
Derrick Kelly spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
