Riggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ett misses with a shot to the body
and Riggs cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Riggs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ett's waist but Ett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Riggs off to one side.
Ett throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Riggs takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Ryan Riggs has been cut.
Riggs dives in and grabs Ett's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ett pushes down on Riggs's head and hops out.
Riggs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ett is fending him off so far but Riggs persists. Nope, Ett circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Riggs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ett lands a right hook to the body.

Ett is pressed up against the cage. Riggs has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ett down to the mat. Ett avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Riggs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SUB2#
Ett has his foot on Riggs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Riggs works his way back into a safe position though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Riggs connects with a nice short shot to Ett's temple.

Riggs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riggs working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Ett is still in real trouble! Can Riggs finish him?
Riggs lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Ett! More strikes land and this one is all over! Riggs jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
