Haibane fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fighter Four really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fighter Four bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Haibane's head backwards.
Fighter Four misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Haibane counters with a nice uppercut.
Fighter Four throws a leg kick which misses Haibane's front leg but catches the back leg as Haibane tries to avoid it.
Fighter Four cracks Haibane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fighter Four leaves Haibane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Haibane works over Fighter Four's head and body with a nice combination.
Random Fighter Four seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fighter Four slips under a jab from Haibane.
Haibane shoots in but Fighter Four avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fighter Four swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A jab from Fighter Four finds it's way through Haibane's defenses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haibane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fighter Four stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.#CL2#

Fighter Four has Haibane pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Haibane is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Fighter Four - that's hurt Haibane badly! Oh, another knee lands and Haibane is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Haibane doesn't seem to be complaining.

Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Rakka Haibane and Oaki Sato. Haibane comes to the cage accompanied by Pretenders-Sawano Hiroyuki. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Rakka Haibane! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Oaki Sato!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Sato wants to clinch up but Haibane keeps it at a distance.
Oaki Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Haibane looking to score a takedown here. Sato is defending well but Haibane drives through and ends up in Sato's guard.
Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Haibane (2) vs (0) Sato
Sato bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Haibane's guard.

Haibane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sato on the ground.
Sato wants to pass the guard but Haibane is keeping the position.
Haibane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Sato drops back looking for a leg! Haibane is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Haibane manages to kick Sato off! Sato jumps back into Haibane's guard.
Haibane wants to sweep here but Sato controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sato trying to control but Haibane is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haibane tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haibane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Haibane can't keep his opponent in guard - Sato advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Haibane wants to control but Sato is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sato looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Haibane is not content to let Sato control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haibane wants to control but Sato is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Sato tries to pass to full mount but Haibane defends it.

Sato maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Haibane could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sato has cracked it and Haibane is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sato!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Oaki Sato!
Oaki Sato tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Craft looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Haibane is fending him off so far but Craft persists. Nope, Haibane circles away and we're back to standing.
Craft fails with the takedown
and Haibane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Craft fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Haibane avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clifton Craft. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Haibane closes the distance and clinches.
Haibane is pushing Craft up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Craft ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Craft no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Haibane connects with a nice short shot to Craft's temple.

It looks like Haibane might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Haibane seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Haibane perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Haibane looks to land a strike but Craft avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Haibane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Let's hope that Haibane has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

I would just about give that final round to Rakka Haibane.
Well Haibane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
