Honda drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
We've been told by Honda's head coaches at Club Savage MMA Tokyo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

The fighters circle momentarily. Gun darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Honda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gun swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Honda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gun tries to avoid it but Honda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gun to the ground. Gun escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Honda misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gun looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

We've been hearing reports that Decon has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
